Broadview is our longest Exhibit People client and actually our close relationship goes 10 years before Exhibit People. Broadview is one of our best clients but also very good friends.
We’ve been fortunate enough to design and build Broadviews NAB Las Vegas trade show rental booth for more than 15 years.
Our Exhibit People team in recent years has been gaining international experience and one brainstorming conversations with Broadview lead to another which led to Broadview inviting Exhibit People to design and quote on a booth for their broadcasting show in Amsterdam.
The only requirement was that Exhibit People had to come close in price to existing quotes from local Amsterdam exhibit companies.
Exhibit People was very excited for this challenge, but I also felt the weight of responsibility to deliver a great looking booth at this European show.
Preparing for this design and show required a lot of groundwork and a lot of research in order to compete with local rental exhibit builders. European rental companies utilize the provide shell scheme back wall and side return walls more than U.S. rental companies typically do. Also European shows have different rules for what rental stand builders and exhibitors can and cannot do within their booth space.
For many portions of the design we stayed with refined solutions Broadview knew well and brought these materials from our warehouse in Las Vegas. For other portions of the booth we sourced locally in Amsterdam and arrived a few days earlier to better prepare for install.
Overall this European trade show rental display turned out amazing as a blend of best solutions from U.S. trade shows and European trade shows. For Broadview the important elements of the booth were familiar and comfortable. But also in many ways this trade show rental stand was different from the others, allowing it to stand out while being somewhat consistent with Broadview’s U.S. trade show rental exhibit look and feel.
Broadview was very pleased with the design and happy to have familiar partners to rely on before, during and after the show. Broadview was making plans during this show for a bigger better rental stand for the next year.
